About me
Struggling with your mental health or wellbeing can feel lonely, exhausting, and overwhelming. Maybe you're struggling with periods of low mood, recurring anxiety, or just not feeling yourself. Perhaps you’re experiencing a loss or facing challenges in your relationships. Whatever you’re going through, reaching out to a therapist can be an important first step toward feeling better, and finding someone who’s the right fit for you is essential.
I bring over 15 years of experience supporting people in the NHS, community organisations, and private practice. Through this work, I’ve come to understand that psychological distress is often a natural response to difficult life experiences. Talking through these experiences with a trained professional can help you process and move forward.
I hold doctoral-level training in the psychological treatment of distress and am committed to using my knowledge and experience to support your journey. As a counselling psychologist, I see the therapeutic relationship as central to the work we do together. I focus on building authentic, collaborative, and safe alliances that encourage exploration and growth.
My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based models including attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy. I also have experience working with therapeutic approaches for psychosexual issues. Sessions with me are conversational and reflective, while always remaining focused on supporting meaningful, lasting change.
I offer online sessions on a schedule that suits your needs, whether weekly, fortnightly, or less often.
If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to book a free 20-minute phone call with no obligation. This is a chance for you to share what’s on your mind, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work. Reaching out can feel daunting, but if you do decide to get in touch, you can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, and no judgment.
If it feels like a good fit, we can then arrange our first session together.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
