About me
I am a qualified and registered psychotherapist based in Charnwood, Leicestershire.
I hold a Masters qualification from The University of Nottingham and I am a registered member of the BACP.
How I work
I am currently providing 1:1 sessions for adults online using google meet, zoom or another secure video platform depending on preference. I also offer sessions via telephone.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation for all clients, after which there will be no obligation to proceed. If you are happy to continue with me, we will arrange weekly sessions going forward.
I also offer "walk & talk" therapy in my local area. This combines the benefits of traditional counselling with the soothing influence of a natural environment. Please enquire for more details about this form of therapy to find out if it may be a suitable way of working together.
My approach
I offer a compassionate and supportive space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach is rooted in the principles of person-centred therapy, which means it’s all about you - your pace, your experiences, and what feels right for you. I am here to help you explore your thoughts and emotions, and support you as you grow and discover more about yourself.
I believe that everyone has the potential to move forwards, and my role is to support and guide you through that process. My practice is built on trust and collaboration. We’ll work together to create a safe and open space where you can find clarity, build resilience, and achieve lasting change.
While I hold specific areas of interest and expertise, my practice is not limited to any particular group or diagnosis. You do not need a mental health label to seek support. My person-centred approach is open to anyone who is looking to make meaningful changes in their life, whether you’re facing specific challenges or simply seeking a greater sense of clarity and well-being.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
