About me

Are you finding yourself stuck in relationship patterns, struggling with your confidence or self-worth, or feeling that past experiences are still affecting you today?

Perhaps, you're finding it difficult to feel secure or connected in your relationship, having the same arguments or patterns repeat, or struggling to communicate and feel understood. You may find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, putting others' needs before your own, or questioning whether you're good enough.

Or perhaps, you've been through experiences that have left a lasting impact. Even when life has moved on, the effects of trauma can continue to shape how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and how you respond to situations in the present. You may understand what has happened to you but still find yourself stuck in patterns that are difficult to change.

My work focuses particularly on relationships and couples, confidence and self-esteem, limiting beliefs and trauma recovery. I work with individuals and couples to gently explore the patterns beneath the surface, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships and find ways of moving forward that feel more authentic and empowering.

My own journey through grief, trauma, and complex relationships has shaped the therapist I am today. It has given me a deep appreciation of how difficult it can be to face painful experiences, understand the ways they may have affected us, and begin to create something different. I bring this personal understanding alongside my professional experience, offering a space where you don't need to have everything figured out and where you won't be judged or expected to simply "move on".

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through the process is the bravest thing we'll ever do." - Brene Brown

This is something I strongly believe in. Therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about creating a safe space to understand yourself more deeply, recognise the patterns that may no longer be serving you, and begin to make choices that feel right for you.

Relationships & Couples

Relationships can bring up some of our deepest fears, insecurities, and vulnerabilities. I support individuals and couples experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust issues, attachment patterns, and difficulties understanding one another.

Whether you're struggling within a relationship, navigating a significant change, or wanting to understand your own relationship patterns more deeply, we can explore what's happening beneath the surface and work towards healthier, more connected ways of relating.

Confidence, Self-Esteem & Limiting Beliefs

Low confidence and self-esteem can affect almost every area of life. You may be highly capable but still doubt yourself, compare yourself to others, find it difficult to set boundaries, or feel that you're never quite enough.

Together, we can explore where these beliefs and patterns have come from and how they continue to influence the way you think, feel, and behave. The aim isn't simply to "think positively", but to develop a more compassionate and confidence relationship with yourself.

Trauma Recovery

Trauma doesn't always feel like something that belongs in the past. Previous experiences can continue to affect your emotions, relationships, confidence, sense of safety, and responses to situations long after the event itself has ended.

My approach is trauma-informed and person centred, allowing us to work gently and a pace that feels manageable for you. We can explore how your experiences have shaped you without allowing them to define who you are.

I also work with grief and loss, anxiety, and other emotional life challenges, including working with young people.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I tailor our work to you and can integrate approaches such as hypnotherapy, EFT, and IEMT where appropriate, always guided by your needs, preferences, and what feels right for you.

Alongside my private practice, I also support young people through my work with the NHS Youth Counselling Service.

If you're thinking about starting therapy, you're very welcome to book a free 15-minute call. It's an opportunity for us to talk about what's bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we feel like the right fit.

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong or have everything worked out before reaching out. Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.
