About me
Hi, I’m Laura
Are you looking for support to explore your current worries, anxieties, stressors, or life challenges? I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and I want you to know you’re not alone.
I’m here to offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to explore whatever you're going through, at your own pace. Together, we can work through the challenges you're facing and help you move towards greater understanding, self-compassion, and healing.
My journey into counselling began through my own personal experiences of healing and growth. Along the way, I discovered a deep passion for supporting others as they navigate their own paths. I understand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard and seen, and it’s an honour to walk alongside people as they work through life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity for change and resilience.
I work in an integrative way using different modalities with a focus on Person-centred at my core. These models can be tailored to your individual needs, with the capacity to look at your present, past and future in a space where we can work collaboratively towards achieving your goals that could lead to positive change to how you are feeling.
I offer face- to- face counselling, telephone counselling and face time counselling.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Level 4 counsellor with training in trauma, compassion-focused therapy, anxiety, addiction, relationships, depression, and eating disorders. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported where healing can begin at your own pace.
