About me

Finding someone who really listens — and understands what’s beneath the surface — can be the beginning of real change.

You may feel low or anxious without knowing why. Perhaps a loss, separation, or sudden shift has left you unsteady. Maybe you’ve noticed sleepless nights, tears that arrive out of nowhere, or a sense that life has lost its rhythm — and you want to make sense of it.

Therapy helps you do exactly that.
And Gestalt Psychotherapy offers a powerful, creative way to begin.

I offer one-to-one psychotherapy in a calm, confidential space — in Harley Street, Hertfordshire, and online — where you can explore what’s happening with curiosity and support. Gestalt therapy focuses on the present moment and the patterns that shape your relationships, thoughts, and emotions. It helps you develop awareness, emotional resilience, and a clearer sense of who you are and what you need.

One of the unique strengths of Gestalt Psychotherapy is that it works with you, not on you. There’s no diagnosis to fit into, no expectation to be anything other than who you are. I’ll meet you where you are — attuned to your pace, your story, and your capacity for growth. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and reconnect you with the parts of yourself that already know how to heal.

Clients often describe:

Greater emotional clarity and confidence
Healthier, more authentic relationships
A stronger sense of self-worth and direction
Renewed connection to their own needs and values
If you’re ready to take the next step toward a more grounded, meaningful life, you’re very welcome to get in touch by phone or email.
It would be a privilege to walk that path with you.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

UK Council for Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

How my practice works
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone conversation, giving you a chance to ask questions and get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you. If we decide to go ahead, we’ll book an initial assessment session where we can explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and whether Gestalt therapy feels like a good fit.

From there, we can begin weekly sessions, usually at the same time each week, for an agreed period of time. We’ll regularly review how things are going and adapt the work as needed.

Please feel free to get in touch to arrange your free introductory conversation — I’d be glad to hear from you.
