About me
My name is Laura, and I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor offering a warm, compassionate and supportive space where we can gently explore what has brought you to counselling. A space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while beginning to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to become disconnected from ourselves. We keep going, carrying the pressures and demands of everyday life, often putting our own emotional needs to one side. Over time, this can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, low in mood, or simply not quite like ourselves.
Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down and gently explore what may have been carried beneath the surface for a long time, creating space to better understand yourself, your emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences with greater compassion and clarity.
My approach is gentle, relational, and tailored to you as an individual. Our work together is not about fixing who you are, but about softening the patterns that no longer serve you, building emotional resilience, and helping you reconnect with yourself in a deeper and more compassionate way.
Alongside counselling, I also offer the option of integrating conscious connected breathwork to support emotional release and nervous system regulation. This allows us to work not only with the mind, but also with the body — because sometimes understanding something intellectually is not quite enough, and we need space to safely feel, process, and move through emotions more deeply.
Above all, my intention is to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and not alone.
