About me
Thank you for stopping by. I am a Pluralistic Counsellor, which means I am trained in different counselling approaches and techniques. My training allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs, to best help you achieve your therapy goals. I take a holistic approach to supporting my clients, because it’s not only life events that can affect us negatively. I believe that everyone is the expert on themselves and my role is to help you find the answers you already have, that just need uncovered. The sessions are led by you, they are yours to bring whatever you want to. We work at your pace, towards your goals. My aim is for you to be empowered and have full autonomy, I feel that is where healing lies.
I prefer face to face sessions. The human contact we seem to be lacking in these technological times is important to me. However, if face to face isn't possible, I can host online sessions. Whether in-person or online, I will provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to speak and be heard.
In addition to talking therapy, I can offer Walking Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Integrated Eye Movement Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro-linguistic Programming ans Nutrition advice. I feel it is important to provide an alternative to talk therapy, not everyone is comfortable with or able to share their story. These techniques help process troublesome emotions and memories, and reduce the negative impact they have. I also offer Single Session Therapy (or One at a time therapy) which is targeted at a specific problem and is more therapist lead.
Sessions are held in a calm and peaceful shepherds hut, just outside Kilmarnock.
I will reply to every enquiry. If you don’t receive a response to your email, please check junk folders.
