About me
Thank you for stopping by. I am a Pluralistic Counsellor, meaning I am trained in different counselling approaches, which allows me to tailor sessions to be as unique as you are. Although, I am really just a 'helper' assisting you to find what you want from life. I believe that everyone is the expert on themselves and my role is to help you find the answers you need.
I prefer face to face sessions. The human contact we seem to be lacking in these technological times is important to me. However, if face to face isn't possible, I can host online sessions. Whether in-person or online, I will provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to speak and be heard.
In addition to Counselling, I am qualified in Hypnotherapy, Integrated Eye Movement Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique and Neuro-linguistic Programming. I feel it is important to provide an alternative to talking therapy, not everyone is comfortable sharing their story. These techniques help process troublesome emotions and reduce the negative impact they have.
Sessions are held in a calm and peaceful shepherds hut, just outside Kilmarnock. I also hold sessions in West Kilbride, every second Tuesday.
