About me

Hello, I'm Kylie – Founder of Holm Therapies.

I offer both in-person and online sessions tailored to meet your individual needs. With many years of experience as a mental health professional, including my role as Clinical Manager of a psychological therapies service in the NHS, I bring both expertise and compassion to our sessions. My aim is to help you find clarity, strength, and peace. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, without judgment.

I specialise in three evidence-based treatments - Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), all of which have been shown to be highly effective for challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties We’ll work together to uncover the root causes of your distress and develop practical tools to help you face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

I often work with individuals who are highly critical and perfectionistic, as well as clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression, or find themselves dealing with trauma, whether it’s from childhood, recent experiences such as a birth trauma, or a formal diagnosis of PTSD. I also work with clients who have ADHD and / or Autism (including clients who suspect they may be neurodiverse) and adapt my ways of working to your needs.

If you’re dealing with memories of past trauma, the weight of anxiety, or feelings of low self-esteem, or you're highly critical and fearful of failing, healing is within reach.

I’m here to help you tap into the inner strength you already have, so you can start feeling more in control and hopeful about the future. Reach out today to schedule your first session, and let’s take the first step toward healing together.
