About me
Maybe something has shifted - a relationship has ended, life has taken a turn you didn't choose, or you simply don't feel like yourself anymore. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to make sense of it alone.
I'm Kristina, a fully qualified Person-Centred Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression and trauma, as well as break-ups and relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and the quieter, ongoing work of personal growth and self-understanding.
My approach is to offer a safe, confidential and genuinely non-judgemental space - somewhere you can explore your feelings, your patterns, and the way you see the world, at your own pace. Many people come to me at a vulnerable point and aren't quite sure yet what they need. That's okay. Part of our work together is making sense of it, gently and without pressure.
Over time, the aim is for you to feel more self-aware, more resourced, and more able to meet whatever comes next on your own terms.
If any of this resonates, I'd warmly invite you to book a free 20-minute introductory call - a relaxed chance to talk through what's on your mind, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels right for you.
I look forward to meeting you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Client's Testimonials:
'I found my sessions with Kristina invaluable. She created a safe and comfortable environment for me to share emotions and experiences I otherwise haven't shared with anyone before. Engaged with me insightfully and clearly without asking anything leading or assuming. Knowing she's there to resume sessions with at any point is of great comfort and reassurance to me now.'
'Kristina has been the guardian angel I never knew could exist. She allowed me to open up and never made me feel uncomfortable for not having anything to say or having the 'right' answer. She always questioned me and made me look further into my answers, she pushed me to visit places that were terrifying and made it all so easy to do. She has supported me and allowed me to take my time when delving into something uncomfortable. She has laughed with me and been there in my darkest moments. I couldn't recommend a better therapist for anyone. I know I did it myself, but I couldn't have become the person I am today without her and I couldn't be more grateful to have her supporting me.'
'My experience working with Kristina was nothing short of just wonderful. I have shared with friends what a lovely experience of therapy it was and continue to do so to this day. She is so calming, and I felt so comfortable opening up to her. The benefits I gained from our sessions were huge and I have felt growth in my journey since our sessions. This non-judgemental space that she offers was where I thrived and I really enjoyed our sessions, mainly because it allowed me to be fully myself and enabled me to grow and learn so much. I felt heard and understood which is how everyone should feel in their therapeutic journey.'
