About me

Hi! I’m Kristen; a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist based in Stockton-On-Tees. My office is wheelchair accessible, vibrant and welcoming. I am experienced in working with both children and adults and I am qualified to work with a range of difficulties. My specialities include: neurodiversity, attachment, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence and disability/chronic illness.

I take pride in establishing a safe, judgement-free environment. My therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, I will periodically alter my therapeutic interventions to meet your needs, as individuals are not linear.

I am not a ‘sit back and nod’ therapist. I’m a firm believer that a strong therapeutic relationship requires both parties personalities to be present. I will hold your difficult feelings with you, but I will also be overjoyed when you announce your achievements. Please contact me for a free 15 minute no obligation telephone consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

To become an Integrative Psychotherapist; I completed six years of rigorous training at a highly respected institution in Newcastle. I have provided Psychotherapy within multiple units, charities and schools.
My previous background was in complex health care, working with chronic illnesses and disabilities. My passion for inclusivity remains and I incorporate my knowledge in health into my therapeutic work.
