About me

Hello,

Perhaps you've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. Maybe you're struggling with low confidence, loneliness, relationship difficulties, or a period of change that has left you unsure of what to do next. You may have spent years masking parts of yourself, trying to hold everything together while finding it increasingly difficult to understand what you need. Counselling can give you the opportunity to slow things down, feel truly heard, and begin to make sense of what is happening.

About My Practice

I am a fully qualified BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor, offering counselling online and face-to-face from my private practice in Tonbridge. Over the years, I have developed a neurodiverse-affirming practice, providing specialist support for clients with Autism, ADHD, AuDHD and Dyslexia. Alongside this, I work with adults navigating a broad spectrum of life challenges, including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Low Self-Confidence, Loneliness, Relationship Difficulties, Family Issues, Bereavement and Loss, Menopause, Infertility, and Postnatal Depression.

My Approach

I don't believe that one type of therapy works for everyone. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). I adapt my work to your unique mind and experiences, rather than expecting you to fit a particular therapeutic model.
For me, counselling is about creating a collaborative relationship where you can step out of expectation, drop the mask, and be open without any fear of judgement.

Together, we can explore what you're experiencing, understand patterns that may be affecting you, and consider what you would like to achieve in our work. My aim is never to change who you are, but to help you develop greater self-awareness, recognise your core strengths, and find authentic ways of living that feel manageable and fulfilling for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have experience working with different counselling agencies and charities, including providing NHS IAPT counselling. I have supported adults going through bereavement, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and family difficulties, as well as young adults experiencing ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression and Self-Harm.

I have also undertaken further training on Trauma and Attachment, Neurodiversity, Menopause, Family Issues and Infertility.

Whether you are dealing with something that has happened recently or carrying difficulties that have been with you for many years, we can work at a pace that feels right for you.

If you're wondering whether counselling might help, you don't need to have all the answers before getting in touch. We can have an initial free, no-obligation 15-minute conversation before you decide.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
