About me
Mental Health is very important to me. Many people suffer and cope in many ways, silence, addiction, rage, anger, isolation as well as many other ways.
You can choose something different to cope and find tools and ways to deal with things in your life. I believe the mind, body and spirit are in harmony with each other and one way is to talk to someone you trust. Many people don’t have that person, and a trusted therapist can be that for you. I understand it is difficult to make a leap of faith in this area and I can help you find your way. I am trained as an Integrative/ Pluralistic Psychotherapist, which means I can use different styles of counselling, CBT, Person-centred and psychodynamic counselling. I can use these styles to adapt to the client's needs and wants and we can work together to find ways for you.
We will all experience challenges/difficulties in our lives, I'm no exception to this rule and I have lived experience through therapy and by using the tools I have learned have transformed my life.
I am also a qualified hypnotherapist and can offer this to help you in other ways.
Always happy to have an informal chat or email exchange, which will be followed by a free initial consultation should you wish to progress.
I work face to face, online or telephone.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold the Advanced Diploma (Ad Dip Psy C) in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
I also hold a Level three certification in Hypnotherapy and Counselling skills (Cert Hyp CS)
I'm an Accredited member of the National Counselling Society (MNCS (Accred) and the National Hypnotherapy Society (NHS (Accred)
I work privately and am flexible when and how as I hire a therapy room. I also work for a charity with Domestic Abuse survivors.
