About me
I am a BACP Registered Humanistic Counsellor with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments, whatever they maybe, anxiety, depression, bereavement, grief, loss, suicidal thoughts...
Looking for the right counsellor can be a daunting task and finding the ‘right fit’ for you is essential to you moving forward.
I can offer a safe, confidential space where you can openly share and work through the issues that are making you feel stuck or challenged.
Humanistic counselling focuses on helping you to understand yourself better and empowering you to find your own way forward.
This approach emphasises your innate potential for growth and self-discovery, allows you to gain clarity, build resilience, and develop the confidence to navigate life's challenges in a way that feels authentic and true to you.
My specialist areas include providing compassionate counselling for those affected by Cancer, or indeed any illness or chronic condition and the consequences of such experience.
I have extensive knowledge in Special Educational Needs (SEN), allowing me to offer tailored support for clients navigating these unique challenges.
SERVICES
My services are available during weekday evenings, Saturday mornings and select weekdays.
I offer both short-term and long term counselling options:
Short Term: Designed to help clients achieve specific goals by empowering them to find their inner strength, build resilience, and foster personal growth.
Longer Term: For those seeking a deeper, more exploratory approach, I provide longer-term Humanistic Counselling with a person centred approach of working more gently and compassionately at your own pace, focusing on building a relationship of trust and providing a safe, supportive space for healing and self-discovery.
If you would like to discuss how this might work for you, I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
