About me

Hi I’m Kerry a Counsellor offering face to face therapy in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and online therapy across the UK.

Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck or not quite yourself at the moment. You don't need to have everything worked out before you begin- we can take things at your pace.

I truly believe that feeling heard and seen as your true self is the key to unlocking the potential to heal, whether that is how your feeling in a current situation or something from the past. If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck, struggling low self esteem or stress, you may feel misunderstood or disconnected from your emotions. A safe space to be open, feel validated and begin your own healing process at your pace could be what you're looking for.
I offer a supportive space where you can feel heard and seen. I draw from different approaches tailored to your needs helping you navigate or process what you bring to the sessions. I have experience supporting clients identify patterns, setting goals, managing anxiety, building self esteem, processing trauma.
I believe that healing starts with feeling understood and I work collaboratively to to empower clients to gain clarity, confidence and a stronger sense of self.

I work integrativly, which means I draw on different approaches to suit you as an individual. First and foremost, I offer a space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely listened to, without judgement or pressure.

Where it feels helpful, I may work creatively using techniques such as imagery, writing and mindfulness if this suits you.                                                    Everything we do is guided by what feels right for you.

If you’re considering counselling and want to see whether we might be a good fit, you’re very welcome to get in touch for an introductory call.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
