About me
Before training as a counsellor, I spent years in marketing — deadlines, people-pleasing, and quietly holding it together while everything felt like too much on the inside. I recognise that feeling, and I built my practice around it.
I'm a person-centred counsellor working with adults and young people (13+). My approach is gentle, steady and collaborative — I won't direct you or offer quick fixes. Instead, we create space to understand what's going on beneath the surface and reconnect with your own resources and resilience.
Areas I support
Trauma, abuse recovery, grief, family difficulties, ADHD and neurodiversity, burnout, parenting stress, low self-esteem, as well as anxiety, stress and low mood.
Working with young people
I offer supportive, creative counselling for teenagers (13+), with clear, reassuring communication for parents — helping young people feel understood as they navigate the challenges of growing up.
How we can work together
In-person, online, or Walk & Talk therapy. However we meet, the space stays calm, respectful, and paced around you.
If you're considering counselling — for yourself or your child — I'm here to help you find your way back to feeling like yourself.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have been working with adult clients since 2022 at Number 22 Community Counselling Services, a registered charity, supporting people through a wide range of challenges including stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, domestic abuse, addiction recovery, family issues, divorce acceptance, corporate burnout, health concerns, sexual abuse, and low self-esteem or self-confidence.
In addition, I have undertaken CPCAB-approved training in working with young people, which included creative and play techniques, and am a Lead Counsellor at a secondary school in the Windsor area, supporting teenagers (aged 13+) with emotional and wellbeing issues.
I bring a compassionate, non-judgemental, and person-centred approach to every session, tailoring support to meet each client’s individual needs and pace.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in marketing — a world full of deadlines, pressures, people‑pleasing, and the constant juggle between work, home, and your own wellbeing.
I know what it’s like to look “fine” on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected on the inside. That lived experience shapes the way I work: with empathy, honesty, and a real understanding of how life’s demands can slowly chip away at your confidence and sense of self.
If you’re feeling stuck, stressed, burnt out, or simply not like yourself, you’re not alone. Together, we can gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface, untangle the thoughts and feelings that feel too heavy to carry alone, and help you find a clearer, steadier way forward.
