About me

Are you feeling stuck at the moment? Are you exhausted from holding everything together? Do you make sure everyone else is okay, while quietly struggling yourself?

I want you know that you don’t have to carry it on your own.

I’m a qualified counsellor, and it’s a privilege to sit alongside you while we untangle what’s heavy and find clarity.

Over the years, I’ve worked in prisons, with people experiencing substance misuse, (both male and female establishments), and in women’s refuges supporting those affected by domestic abuse. I understand how complex, overwhelming and heavy life can feel.

I’ve supported clients navigating addiction, in the criminal justice system, homelessness, as well as anxiety, depression, bereavement, sexual abuse, adverse childhood experiences, relationship struggles, rejection and low self-esteem.

My approach is rooted in empathy, honesty and respect. I believe every person has the capacity to heal and grow, sometimes we just need a safe space and someone to walk alongside us while we do.

I also believe that healing happens in the therapeutic relationship. Research consistently shows that the quality of the relationship between counsellor and client is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy. It isn’t just the techniques or interventions that create change; it’s the human connection.

Whether you’re in recovery, healing from abuse, struggling in relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or simply wanting somewhere to talk without being judged, I offer a calm, confidential space where your voice is heard and your story truly matters.

I became a counsellor because I really care. I believe in the power of human connection. When someone feels genuinely seen and listened to, with warmth and compassion, something shifts. Things change. You feel heard.

I’ve also completed my BOSIET Offshore Survival and MIST training, which allows me to work offshore on assets and vessels, supporting those in demanding environments.
