Psychotherapist | The Felt Space, Edinburgh
South Queensferry EH30 & Edinburgh EH6

About me

Hello, and a very warm welcome. I practise as "The Felt Space" — a psychotherapy practice grounded in embodied, relational, and reflective work.

I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist working in Edinburgh and South Queensferry, supporting individuals who want a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and the experiences that shape their lives. Some people come with a clear difficulty, others with a sense that something isn’t quite right — both are welcome.

My work is grounded in psychodynamic and person-centred therapy, meaning we pay attention to both past experiences and present-moment feelings. I offer a non-judgmental, collaborative space where therapy is not about fixing you, but about accompanying you in exploring who you are, at your own pace.

Alongside talking therapy, I draw on emotion-focused and somatic approaches and family constellation, with gentle creative or experiential methods when helpful. This allows us to explore experiences held not only in words, but also in the body.

I work with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss. I have a particular interest in body-related themes such as body image, eating, sexuality, ageing, pain, illness, and how we live in our bodies during times of change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have rich and extensive experience working in both the private and voluntary sector, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of emotional and relational concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Psychology
  • Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy - University of Edinburgh
  • EFT Level 1 in Emotion-Focused Therapy - Strathclyde University
  • Foundation Training in Systemic Family Constellations (1 year)
