About me

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. Maybe you're suffering or struggling and you’ve tried different ways to feel better, but nothing has worked in the way you'd hoped.  Perhaps you haven’t yet found a safe, supportive space to explore your challenges or maybe the people you've turned to haven’t quite understood what you needed. If any of this sounds familiar, please know that you're not alone and that therapy could help.

Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and find your way. It’s a place where you can make sense of your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and begin creating a path toward meaningful, lasting change.

I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist, qualified to Master’s level and accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA). I work with adults, children, and adolescents, offering both long-term, open-ended therapy and shorter-term work, depending on what best supports the individual.

At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and containing space where you can explore your difficulties, gain insight into your emotional world, and develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion. This process can help you make sense of past experiences, identify patterns in how you relate to others, and move toward more fulfilling, authentic relationships.

I bring experience from a range of settings, including public health services, education, private practice, and the charity sector. My integrative approach draws on both psychodynamic and humanistic theories, allowing me to tailor the work to the unique needs of each person and the issues they bring.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my aim is to walk alongside you in a collaborative, compassionate, and reflective therapeutic process.

What to expect

We’ll begin with a brief email or phone conversation to discuss what’s bringing you to therapy. If we agree to move forward, I will email you a copy of my therapy contract for you to have a look through and arrange an initial assessment session, either in person or via Zoom/Teams. An assessment session gives me the opportunity to ask some key information and we’ll talk in more depth about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from sessions. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. If we decide to work together, we will arrange a regular time and day for our sessions-I usually see people on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on need and circumstances.  I ask that payment for each session is made in advance of the session. If we decide not to move forward together, I’ll be happy to signpost you to other appropriate sources of support.
