About me

Reaching out for support can feel hard, especially if you’re not sure where to begin. You may be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or unsure where to turn next. Perhaps you’ve reached a point where everything feels too heavy to hold alone. Whether something specific has brought you here, or things have built up over time, all experiences are welcome. Life can weigh on us in many ways - sometimes through significant or painful events, and sometimes through things that build up. I believe everyone deserves a space to be heard with empathy, care and respect, where you can begin to make sense of things in your own way.

I’m a person-centred counsellor and therapist, offering online counselling for adults. I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what feels important to you, at your own pace. I believe that feeling heard, understood and accepted within a trusting therapeutic relationship, really matters.

Sessions are led by you. Some arrive knowing what they want to explore, others feel less sure — both are welcome. You don't need to have the “right” words or to have it all figured out. Silence and uncertainty are part of the process. I aim to offer you a space to be yourself, and work in your own way. If this feels right, you're welcome to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be navigating something specific, such as loss, change, or uncertainty, or you may simply notice that things feel difficult without a clear reason.

You’re welcome to bring whatever feels important to you, whether that’s something current, ongoing, or hard to put into words.

Through my training and experience, I’ve worked with people facing a range of concerns; including workplace dynamics and stress, bullying, relationship struggles, family issues, loss and bereavement, miscarriage and fertility challenges, low self esteem, anxiety, depression and the impact of physical or mental health conditions, among other experiences.

I approach each person as an individual, rather than as a set of difficulties or labels.
