About me
Hi, I'm Katie. I'm an integrated psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with adults and young people. I have experience working with stress, anxiety, low mood and depression, relationship and attachment patterns, ADHD and autism and loss, grief, and bereavement.
Sometimes life and relationships can feel difficult and it can help to talk with someone and feel heard, without judgement. Counselling can give you the space to understand and process difficult feelings, giving you more understanding of yourself and enabling freedom, choice, and peace.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy for adults, and young people aged 14+.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified counsellor, with a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am currently training for a CPCAB Level 5 post graduate qualification in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
In addition to my private practice, I am a Counsellor at a local secondary school and I volunteer for the Bereavement charity Cruse.
