Hello, I’m Kathleen, a Drama and Movement Therapist (Arts Psychotherapy). I have experience working with people of all ages, both face-to-face and online. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where I actively listen and connect with each individual client. Therapy involves a commitment of time, money and energy, so it’s important you feel comfortable working with me. I offer a free consultation to learn more about you and why you are seeking therapy at this time, to answer any questions you might have and to think together about how I can help.
I offer Drama & Movement Therapy, Online Therapy and Walk & Talk Therapy (all listed in detail below). Please feel free to get in touch with any questions and/or enquiries! I will always aim to reply within 2 working days. Please check your junk/ spam folder if you have not received an email.

Drama & Movement Therapy
As a drama and movement therapist, I combine talking with creative exercises to encourage free expression and self-realisation. Often, people find using creative methods help to reflect on their experiences and relationships, to process their thoughts and feelings, which then supports change. My practice is rooted in psychoanalytic and developmental psychology. Creative methods I might use include, movement and visualisations, story and character, drawing and writing. Some people prefer to only talk, and that’s okay. Every session is led by the client.
People might choose dramatherapy to heal from past trauma, manage anxiety and depression, understand relationships, recover from addiction, find a sense of self, for example. The reasons for referral are endless.
No drama experience or skills are necessary to participate.
Dramatherapy is an Arts Therapy protected and regulated by the HCPC.
Online Therapy ensures we are able to work together even if we are in different locations or unable to travel. Video call sessions combine talking with creative exercises and visualisations.
Online sessions will remain confidential as with face-to-face. For online therapy, all you need is a device and a private space.
Walk & Talk Therapy ensures we are able to work together maintaining a social distance and minimising the risks of COVID19. I have a walking route in Norfolk which I have carefully selected and risk assessed.
During Walk & Talk therapy, I might invite clients to think creatively about the ecosystem we are in, by drawing, writing and moving. People might prefer Walk & Talk to traditional therapy spaces, as it offers the client and therapist to connect side by side, rather than eye to eye, and share experience in walking in nature.
