About me
Hello and welcome!
I’m Katherine, and I am an experienced person-centred counsellor.
My journey as a counsellor began when, through my own experience, I often felt unheard, stuck and misunderstood, sometimes even with those closest to me.
As a person-centred counsellor, I provide a safe and genuine therapeutic space. You are welcomed into an environment where you will be accepted, heard and supported in a non-judgmental way, and the sessions will be guided by you, at your pace. Our counselling relationship will be in the centre of our work, which will enable you to come just as you are, and we can try to make sense of things together.
I have experience as a counsellor with a charitable organisation for those who have experienced trauma. I also have a long-standing relationship with a local training provider and am able to provide counselling hours for their trainee counsellors, in line with the awarding bodies' requirements.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone call and together we can explore what has prompted you to seek therapy. You can also get a feeling of how it might be for us to work together.
