About me
So many of us have moments where life just feels too much.
Chasing goals and dreams, adapting to change, trying to hold everything together -navigating so much unknown and uncertainty, with little space to breathe and process.
Many of my clients share feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stretched too thin; they’re often working out who they are and what they need to reconnect with themselves again.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m Katie. I'm a counsellor/integrative therapist, with session availability online, by telephone and face to face in Chorley, Lancashire.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, breathe, and talk openly about what’s going on for you — without judgement or pressure. Together, we can make sense of what you’re feeling, understand patterns that may be holding you back, and help you move towards a life that feels more like your own. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping you reconnect with yourself, build emotional resilience, and move towards the kind of life you want to create.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to invite you to a free introductory call — a relaxed, no-pressure space to see if I’m the right fit for you. Sessions are £50 (50 minutes) and are available face-to-face, online, or by telephone.
What to expect in sessions
Our sessions are a safe space where you take the lead and share what you want to explore. I'll work alongside you, at your pace, whilst offering understanding and honesty, as well as theories and tools if appropriate, to help you get the most from our sessions. This is known as an Integrative approach, and we'll regularly review and adapt our work, making sure it's right for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
