About me

Looking for counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to wonder what to expect. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgment. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, ADHD, loss, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Counselling saved my life, and this fuels my passion for helping others. I know how powerful it can be to feel heard and understood, and I want to offer that same space for you—to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels right for you.

How I Work
I take a person-centred approach, meaning our sessions are shaped around you. Some people find structure and practical strategies helpful, while others need space to talk and process their experiences at their own pace. However you work best, we’ll find an approach that feels right for you.

I use a blend of person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, and Gestalt approaches, tailoring sessions to your needs. There’s no ‘one size fits all’ in counselling—what matters is that you feel supported in a way that makes sense to you.

Get in Touch
If you’d like to explore whether we’d be a good fit, feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to answer any questions or arrange an initial session when you're ready.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a qualified counsellor with a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have worked with adults and teenagers in private practice, schools, and charities, supporting people through a wide range of challenges. My experience includes:

  • School counselling, supporting students through anxiety, self-esteem issues, and emotional struggles.
  • Addiction counselling, working with individuals on their recovery journey.
  • Supporting carers, providing emotional support for those looking after loved ones.
  • Teaching counselling, delivering CPCAB Level 2 and 3 courses, which keeps me engaged with the latest practices and deepens my understanding of the field.

In my private practice, I offer a compassionate and professional space where we can work together to explore your concerns and help you move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
