About me

Hi I'm Kari, thanks for looking at my profile. I am a fully qualified therapist specialising in trauma as well as CBT and I am here to help you get the most out of your therapy sessions. Sometimes we need a little support in navigating day-to-day life, work or family situations. I work with a range of presenting factors including anxiety, depression and/or PTSD from previous traumas including baby loss.

I also offer couples counselling for various relationship issues including areas of communication, trust, separation and loss. You are always assured of a safe space free of judgement where you will be fully heard and have your experience validated.

I take a very gentle approach to therapy for all clients. I work primarily with trauma as well as anxiety and relationship issues for couples. I am experienced in dealing with PTSD, C-PTSD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder. I also have personal and professional experience with ASD, dyslexia and ADHD and will accommodate this for any client where required.

Sometimes things just build up and feel impossible, sometimes life throws us a curveball. We feel lost, hurt, maybe quite overwhelmed. Therapy with me is your calm space. Your space to be heard, to be validated and somewhere safe to be your whole self free of judgement or unhelpful advice. I look forward to seeing where your therapy journey will take you.
