About me

 Hi I'm Kari,

I'm a fully qualified and insured trauma informed therapist based in  Glasgow city centre and able to cover the whole of the UK remotely.
I apply an integrated approach with an emphasis on self-compassion to help you get the most out of your sessions with me.  I will always ensure you feel safe and respected every step of the way.

I take a very gentle approach to therapy for all clients.
I work with a range of presenting factors including worries around driving and transport, anxiety and loss. I often support clients experiencing complex PTSD from previous traumas, as well as offering couples counselling for various relationship issues. You will be assured of a safe space free of judgement where you will be fully heard and have your experience validated.

I have personal and professional experience of autism, ADHD and dyslexia, and will always do my best to ensure this is accommodated where possible. There is a box with various fidgets in the therapy room for any client who wishes to use them, as well as several blankets and cushions of different textures available for client use. Still water is always provided on arrival and there is a comfortable waiting area for clients and their friends/family to use as required.

Therapy with me is your calm space. Your space to be heard, to be validated and somewhere safe to be your whole self free of judgement or unhelpful advice. I look forward to seeing where your therapy journey will take you.
