About me

I’m an integrative, person-centred counsellor offering face-to-face sessions in the Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea areas. I also work online with clients across the UK.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, stretched thin by the demands of work, relationships, family, and the everyday pressure to keep going. In looking after everyone else, we can lose sight of our own well-being. But you matter too, and your needs, emotions, and experiences deserve space and care.

Perhaps you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem or navigating a significant life transition, such as a bereavement, starting a new job, becoming a parent, going through a divorce, redundancy, approaching retirement, or facing the changes brought on by menopause or an empty nest. These shifts can stir up confusion, grief, anxiety, or even a sense of losing who you are. You don’t have to face them alone.

I’m here to walk alongside you, literally or metaphorically, as you explore your inner world at your own pace. My role is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen and heard, and begin to reconnect with your own inner resources.

Grief and loss are areas I work with sensitively and with care. Whether you’re adjusting to a recent bereavement, facing the long tail of an older loss, or grieving something less recognised, like a relationship ending, a change in health, or the loss of identity that can follow significant life changes I will support you in making sense of what you’re feeling, and finding a way forward that gives space to your experience.

I also have both personal and professional experience of neurodiversity, particularly ADHD and autism. I understand that navigating a world that often isn’t built with neurodivergent minds in mind can be exhausting, confusing, and sometimes isolating. Whether you’ve had a diagnosis, are exploring the possibility, or feel that your brain works a little differently, I offer a space where you don’t have to mask, explain, or apologise for who you are.

You may be dealing with overwhelm, burnout, difficulties with focus or routine, social anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or the emotional toll of being misunderstood. You might also be processing a late diagnosis, or reflecting on how neurodivergence has shaped your identity, relationships, or self-esteem.

Together, we can explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion. I’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, adapting our sessions to suit your communication style, needs, and preferences. My intention is to support you in deepening your understanding of yourself, building self-trust, and discovering ways of living and relating that feel more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with your true nature.

My approach is gentle and non-directive, grounded in the belief that you already hold the answers within you. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can reflect, process your emotions, and gain fresh insight, helping you move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and grounded.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
