Training, qualifications & experience

My name is Kalvin (MBACP, MNCPS Accred, and PG DIP). My practice is integrative and responsive to your unique experiences and needs. My approach draws from various models and is rooted in the belief that sexuality and relationship dynamics are central to everyone's identity, shaping our interactions with the world and ourselves.

As a GSRD (Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversities) therapist, I've witnessed the profound transformations that therapy can bring. It's not just a profession for me—it's a passion to help everyone live authentically. The therapy journey is a collaborative one, filled with self-discovery, understanding, and personal growth.

It is an incredible privilege to embark on this journey with you as you shape a life that's truly fulfilling and authentic. Together, we'll navigate the vast landscape of your identity and relationships, finding joy and strength in every step we take towards building the life you've always dreamed of.

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
