About me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I aim to make that step feel safe, supportive, and empowering from the very beginning. My practice is built on warmth, collaboration, and deep respect for your personal journey.

In our sessions, you can expect a calm, compassionate space where you are free to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or issues around identity and sexual function, our work together will be guided by your goals and values.

I take a faith-based approach to therapy, integrating spiritual perspectives when helpful, while also being open and respectful toward all belief systems. My goal is to create a space where your values—whatever they are—can be explored with curiosity and care.

I work with both individuals and couples, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional, relational, and personal challenges. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice but shaped by a compassionate, relational style that honours each client’s unique story.

Together, we will focus on helping you build greater self-awareness, confidence, and connection to your true self.I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership—you remain in control of the pace and focus, while I support you with insight, tools, and reflection.

My aim is not to "fix" you, but to help you reconnect with the core of who you are so you can begin to live more fully, authentically, and with deeper meaning.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an Integrative Psychotherapist (MSc, MBACP, MACC) I work integratively, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and person-centred approaches to tailor the work to your individual needs.

I have completed specialist training in sex therapy and conducted research into the intersection of spirituality and sexual function. This has deepened my understanding of how identity, belief, and intimacy intertwine, and how these areas can often be key to emotional healing and self-acceptance.

I am particularly skilled at helping clients build self-awareness, improve self-esteem, and grow in confidence. My role is to walk alongside you—helping you reconnect with the core of who you are so you can begin to live from a place of authenticity, clarity, and meaning.

Whether you're navigating life transitions, relational difficulties, identity questions, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I aim to support you in building a life that reflects who you truly are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Whether you're coming to therapy to explore a specific concern or you're feeling a more general sense of disconnection or dissatisfaction, our first session is an important opportunity to begin clarifying your needs and goals.

In our initial meeting, we’ll take time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. You don’t need to have all the answers—this is a space for us to begin making sense of things together. I’ll ask some gentle questions to get a clearer picture of your experiences, your values, and what’s important to you. From there, we can shape a focus that feels meaningful and achievable.

Many clients are surprised by how insightful this first conversation can be. Even without diving into solutions right away, the act of being heard and reflecting openly often brings unexpected clarity. What can feel like “just talking” is actually the beginning of building greater self-awareness—a key foundation for lasting change.

Whether you’re navigating faith, identity, sexuality, or simply trying to understand yourself better, our work begins with curiosity and care. You set the pace—I’ll walk with you every step of the way.

While we hold space for others to heal, grow, and process life’s complexities, it’s easy to overlook the emotional weight we carry as therapists.
