About me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer once a week open ended and time limited psychotherapy to adults over 18yrs old.
I am available for in person or online by Zoom.
I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore what may be the issues causing you distress and problems in your life. This maybe in your personal and or work life.
My approach is to think about how the past can affect our lives in the present and hopes for the future. Finding ways to understand relationships and repeating patterns in our behaviour can promote a way to self acceptance and understanding of how and why others relate to us.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My approach is psychodynamic. This is way of exploring present issues and difficulties that are happening in our personal and working lives. It aims to understand ourselves by thinking about what has happened in the past and how patterns can develop in our emotions and relationships with others.
Over time it can help you understand why and how you may respond and react in ways to the challenges of adult life, whilst attending to what may have occurred to your younger self. Exploring personal trauma and loss can be part of our work together. A greater understanding of yourself can allow personal growth, more fulfilling relationships to flourish and ability to manage the stresses and events that life can throw at us .
For this to happen in therapy, a trusting and safe therapeutic space and working relationship need to develop. If you would be interested in finding out if this maybe the therapy for you, we would meet for an initial consultation before you commit to starting in therapy with myself.
I work from therapy rooms in Borough London and online. Sessions are weekly for 50 minutes.
