About me

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges and in need of support, you’re not alone. I offer a safe, supportive and non judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in confidence. At the heart of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they truly are.

Often, part of the struggle lies in discovering what truly matters to you. Together, we can reconnect with your values, and you can begin to move towards a life that feels more aligned and authentic to your true self.

I’m a qualified Counsellor and  Registered Member of the BACP, currently working in private practice and with a local BACP accredited counselling agency, offering support to both adults and young people.

I have the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping them navigate the challenges that can feel overwhelming at times. I truly believe in the power of counselling and the positive impact it can have on our lives.

If you’d like to explore how we might work together, please feel free to reach out by phone or email. I’d be happy to arrange a free call at a time that suits you, so you can decide if I am the sort of Counsellor you'd like to work with.

Training, qualifications & experience

Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling
I am also committed to professional growth and development through regular participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training events and receive monthly supervision to maintain the highest standards in my practice. Additionally, I am an active member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
