About me
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and coach, based in Lewes, East Sussex, registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. I am committed to making therapy available to all and so provide a low-cost, counselling service. Supporting my clients’ personal development and growth, we work together to create a framework and language through which to understand thoughts, feelings and behaviours and ultimately make changes. The counselling relationship is at the heart of successful change and growth.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 25 years’ experience in counselling, coaching and mentoring others. I promote personal change and growth for clients seeking support for a variety of reasons: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, low self-esteem and support with life’s challenges.
My relational approach engenders trust and honesty which are the building blocks for self-acceptance. From these foundations, anxiety, depression and all sorts of relationship issues can be reframed.
My qualifications include:
- Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
- BA and MA in Education
- Coaching and Mentoring Qualifications
- National Professional Qualification for Headship

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
