About me

I am a BACP registered therapist. I am also accredited by the NCPS and hold Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

I work individually with Young People and Adults who are hearing or Deaf using English or BSL.

Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, you will be welcomed.

We can work through your worries, challenges or difficult thoughts and feelings, together in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space.

I understand that starting therapy might feel frightening, and my aim is to help you feel comfortable enough to explore whatever is going on for you at a pace that feels right.

My Background

I am an integrative humanistic therapist, which means I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. I believe that being genuinely heard, understood, and accepted can create the conditions for meaningful change, growth, and self-understanding.

As a bilingual therapist working in both British Sign Language (BSL) and English, I offer accessible therapy for Deaf and hearing clients alike. I value open, natural communication and aim to create a space where you can express yourself in the language that feels most comfortable for you.

I work predominantly online, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own environment wherever you are in the UK.

I have experience supporting people with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, identity issues, trauma, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I see therapy as a space for us to work together towards your goals.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of the BACP and an accredited member of the NCPS. I am also a member of the British Psychological Society.

I work online, nationally within the UK. I have a small number of spaces for overseas clients.

I am fully bilingual in English / BSL

My qualifications and training include:

  • MSc Mental Health Psychology
  • Advanced Diploma Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy

Additional Certificates in:

  • Applying Attachment Theory in Clinical Practice
  • Clinical Approaches to Trauma Treatment
  • Working Therapeutically with Neurodiversity
  • Mental Health Law (NHS)
  • Learning Disability and Autism (NHS)
  • Safeguarding Adults and Children - Levels 2 & 3 (NHS)
  • Safeguarding / DSL

I am currently completing a PhD in Psychotherapy.

I have additional degree-level qualifications in Audiology and Education.
