About me

I am an integrative therapist offering a warm, grounded space where you can feel heard, slow down, and reconnect with yourself.

My practice is rooted in person-centred values, mindfulness, and the healing that can come through connection — with another person, with creative expression, and with the natural world. I believe therapy is a form of medicine, and that the meeting between two people, when held with care, can be deeply restorative.

I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, or a sense of being stuck or lost.

How we can work together

Online via Google Meet — flexible and accessible
In person — private, confidential sessions locally
Outdoor therapy — walk-and-talk or seated sessions at Werneth Low Country Park or Wise Woods, where nature becomes part of the therapeutic process

What to expect

Each session is guided by what you bring and what you need. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. I may invite creative exploration, movement, writing, or simply sitting with what is. My role is to walk beside you with compassion and curiosity as you find your own way forward.

I am a registered BACP member working to their ethical guidelines, supported by regular supervision.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an MSc in Contemporary Creative Approaches to Counselling & Psychotherapy, with a foundation in the person-centred approach. My training emphasises the integration of creativity, embodiment, and relational depth in therapy, allowing me to work flexibly with what each client brings.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. My work is supported by regular professional supervision and ongoing training.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Therapy is not about having all the answers - it’s about having a safe space to be honest with yourself and explore what you are carrying. My approach is gentle, creative, and grounded, offering you time to pause and reconnect.

Alongside one-to-one therapy, I co-direct Living Nature CIC, which offers community wellbeing programmes, children’s wellness clubs, and nature-based learning projects. Therapy, however, is a separate space from this community work - confidential and just for you.

I offer limited sessions at a reduced rate of £40 for concessionary places. Please contact me to enquire if there are any currently available.

If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, I am happy to arrange a short initial phone call so you can get a feel for how I work before booking a session.
