About me

I offer a comprehensive therapeutic service to help people overcome those 'bumps in the road' that life throws at us from time to time.

As an integrative practitioner I provide a relationship based service which draws on therapies that give clients insight into their issues, in a psychological environment to grow beyond their present circumstances.

For a variety of reasons we sometimes find ourselves 'stuck' in a situation where our thoughts, feelings and behaviours prevent us from experiencing positivity and fulfilment. My mission with clients is to help them achieve movement away from current depressive life positions through positive change that acknowledges each individuals potential.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a fully trained Counselling Practitioner, with experience working in social care and the NHS I have experience of dealing with clients diagnosed with a wide variety conditions, such as; personality disorders, attachment disorders, ADHD and Autism. I have experience in working with clients presenting with depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues, historical abuse, stress, self-esteem and low confidence.

I currently work on a part-time basis as HE lecturer for counselling, and have provided ad-hoc presentations on mental health and counselling topics to such organisations as McMillan Wellbeing and Student Support Services at Stockport College.
