About me

Are you struggling within yourself, with your partner, family and/or relationships? I am passionate about helping find the best version of yourself and I truly believe you are worthy of respect, dignity, and the opportunity to improve your life. We all exist in relationships, and at times, these become complicated, harmful for us and create problems that we want to resolve. I work in comfortable therapy rooms in either Ealing W5, Chiswick W4 or Central London EC1 and online.

As a psychotherapist and qualified social worker with 10+ years of experience, I have seen how individuals, couples and families blame each other and themselves for the challenges that exist within these relationships. Working with you, I will help you to unpick and create new ways of existing within your relationships, helping you see that you are not the problem, your partner is not the problem, and your child is not the problem. The problem is the problem!

When you fall into unhelpful patterns in your relationships, you need to create new, helpful ones, in order for things to change. Everything thing you do is connected and I will help you to understand your connections and find new ways to understand and overcome those problems. It isn't easy to start therapy for you, with your partner, with your family so I will make it as simple a process as possible.

I am passionate about you feeling as if 'I get you' and my specialism lies in working with people who are unsure about starting therapy. I believe that my goal as your therapist is to help you feel, think, behave and relate differently to the problem you have. I don't think you are the problem and it's within yourself and your relationships with those around you where true change can occur; you're here to change your life for you, your family, and your friends.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a systemic couple and family psychotherapist and qualified social worker with over 10 years experience of working with individuals, couples, families and organisations to create real and lasting change. I am a qualified therapist, social worker, trainer and coach who is registered with UKCP, AFT and Social Work England. I have worked with many different presenting problems with individuals, couples and families over the past 10 years, creating change with some of the most challenging problems. If you want to create change within your life, your partner's life, your family and children's life, then reach out and find out how we can work together to create lasting change.

I have worked with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing really difficult times in their lives and I have provided a safe, caring environment where we can work purposefully to achieve their therapy goals.

My approach is simple, help you change your current problem and how it is impacting on and with your current relationships.

I work with you to understand the problems you are experiencing, once we understand them together, I will start to ask you questions and offer ideas that might help you think and respond differently to the problem. I often ask and offer challenging and straightforward questions and ideas as I have found that these are the ones that make the difference… and that’s what you want, things to be different. Sometimes this will be you thinking differently about the problem and sometimes this will be actions you can take. My approaches work by helping YOU develop these new ways of acting and thinking.

I am able to offer in person sessions, online sessions and home visits. We would start with a free initial phone or virtual consultation where we can see if we fit and you want to move forward with me. There is no obligation for you to share your therapy goals/presenting issues unless you want to and no obligation for you to start therapy with me; it needs to be right for you.
