About me
Struggling with your thoughts or emotions can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Jody, a person-centred therapist based in Glasgow, and I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore whatever is on your mind.
Person-centred therapy is all about you—your experiences, your feelings, and your pace. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, I provide a compassionate, confidential environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. My role is to listen, offer understanding without judgment, and help you gain clarity and confidence in yourself and your path forward. This approach can help you feel more in control, build self-trust, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s normal to feel unsure at first. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly. We might explore past experiences or focus on present challenges, there’s no right or wrong way to approach therapy—it’s all about what feels most helpful for you. While therapy can bring up difficult emotions at times, it's also a space for growth and self-discovery - and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, with the flexibility of short-term or open-ended therapy depending on what feels right for you.
Free Introductory Call
Finding the right therapist is important, so I offer a free introductory phone or video call to help you decide if we’re a good fit. This is your opportunity to ask any questions, share what’s on your mind, and get a feel for how we might work together. My hope is that you’ll leave this call feeling clear and confident about your next steps, knowing what feels best for you moving forward.
If you’d like to chat or learn more, please feel free to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
