About me

Integrative and transpersonal psychotherapeutic approach:

My approach is about helping you FEEL CONFIDENT to know that you have the tools and inner resources to help you live your life.

Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, alone or are thinking about personal growth; please feel free to contact me. I can offer you psychotherapy, counselling or coaching depending on what you are looking for. I work with both individuals or couples on a range of issues listed below and also have a particular interest in PARENTING.

I find that lasting change comes from within and not from being told what to do. Together I can help you explore your feelings, experiences, anxieties and all that is important to you in order to understand better what is going on and what is helpful for the future.

I provide a space to “be” with the client in a way you may not experience usually, to facilitate a sense of well-being. I am specifically interested in a deeper search for truth and bringing awareness of our essential being. In addition the transpersonal approach is also able to help growth and development and can focus on working with the creative imagination.

Please be assured that I have a compassionate and sensitive approach and treat all enquiries and sessions with strict confidentiality.

I provide 50 minute sessions usually on a weekly basis at an agreed time.

I also offer supervision to therapists, life coaches and other practitioners in the field of health.

I am accredited by the UKCP and adhere to their ethical codes of practice.

I work with individuals, couples and groups.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a masters degree and diploma in counselling and psychotherapy and over 7 years experience in working with clients. In addition my experience in teaching, and in human resources particularly in training and development and recruitment gives a broad exposure to different organizations and group work.

Ongoing professional development and personal growth is something I pursue rigorously on a consistent basis.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
