About me

Do you experience difficulty with communication which impacts your relationships at home or work? You are aware that something's got to change but you don't know where to start.  Would you like to improve?

I particularly enjoy supporting men who are perhaps coming to therapy for the first time. Perhaps you feel the pressure to meet society's expectations of being strong and self-sufficient overwhelming? Do you find it hard to express your emotions, leading to frustration and strained relationships? Perhaps unresolved experiences from childhood are affecting your self-worth and confidence and causing you to use unhelpful coping strategies? .

Making changes doesn’t have to be daunting:

-Therapy provides a safe and confidential space to explore your feelings.

-You’ll be supported to develop healthier coping strategies to manage emotions and improve communication at your own pace.

-Together, we’ll work on practical solutions that fit into your daily life.

Therapy can help you achieve a greater sense of self-awareness and confidence by:

-Understanding your triggers so you can respond in a healthier way.

-Developing emotional resilience, so you can handle challenges with greater ease.

-Improving communication skills, so you can foster deeper and more meaningful connections. Building self-confidence so you can communicate more effectively.

-Identifying underlying patterns of behaviour, so you can break free from negative cycles.

I started my private practice because I saw so many individuals and couples struggling with relationship challenges and communication breakdowns,  which result in guilt or low self-worth. These issues often left them feeling isolated, frustrated, and disconnected. But with the right support, it’s possible to gain control, improve relationships, and build a more fulfilling life.

With my extensive experience in counselling and couples therapy, along with my own journey of personal growth and self-discovery, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these difficulties. I can help you break free from unhelpful patterns and develop the confidence to create meaningful change.  In my counselling career, I have supported many clients to improve their relationships, manage their emotions more effectively, and develop a stronger sense of self-worth. I’d love to help you too.

·I’m a fully qualified and registered counsellor with NCPS. Previous clients have shared that therapy has helped them feel more in control, improve their relationships, and gain a better understanding of themselves.

So please get in touch to book a free, no-obligation introductory call and see how therapy can support you on your journey to change.
