About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC. I am also a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, with additional training in systemic approaches with AFT, and in Clinical Neuropsychiatry. Alongside my private practice, I have worked within NHS and European public healthcare services since 2019.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, pain, sleep problems, or feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. I often work with people navigating change - whether this follows diagnosis, injury, or life event, or reflects a quieter sense that something no longer feels as it once did.

Many people I work with have felt misunderstood or not fully heard in the past. I place particular importance on listening carefully, working at your pace, and finding an approach that feels respectful and meaningful to you - without pressure or expectations. Whether you come to therapy with a goal, or just an idea of what you need - both are equally welcome.

Together, we can make sense of what has shifted, what remains, and what may need to change. I also support those who feel ready for change, but are unsure where to begin. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence - supporting you to develop clarity, stability, self-compassion, and a way forward that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the British Health and Care Professions Council.

I am also a BABCP-accredited Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist, working specifically with CBT.

Additionally I have Foundation accreditation in Systemic Family Therapy from the AFT, and a MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry.

I trained at the University of Oxford, and at the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Neuroscience at King's College, London.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked in the NHS and European public healthcare services since 2019.

Member organisations

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
