About me
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for clarity, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work on building the tools, resilience, and self-awareness you need to move forward confidently and create meaningful change in your life.
Find support to face specific challenges like low self-esteem, bereavement, anxiety, or depression, wanting to explore deeper emotional issues, or simply looking for personal growth.
I also work with relational difficulties, whether that’s struggles in a couple relationship, family tensions, or challenges in communication and connection with others. Whatever your situation, we’ll work together to uncover insights, strengthen your ability to navigate difficulties, and create the positive changes you’re looking for.
MY APPROACH
The approach used is tailoring our sessions to suit your unique needs by drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques. This flexibility allows us to adapt our work to what resonates most with you, whether it's addressing specific issues, exploring emotions, or understanding patterns in your thoughts and behaviours. By combining different methods, we can find the best way to support your personal growth.
ABOUT ME
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s also a powerful one. The focus is on providing a supportive and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, feel truly heard, and begin working towards the changes you want in your life.
Alongside my experience with Cruse Bereavement Care, where I supported people through the pain of grief, and Richmond Mind, where I worked with adults facing mental health challenges, I am also trained in couples therapy and relationship counselling with Relate. This means I can support not only individuals but also couples who may be struggling with communication, conflict, or changes in their relationship.
I’ve also worked extensively with young people aged 11–25, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence, relationships, and early adulthood. Whatever brings you to therapy, whether it’s personal difficulties, relationship struggles, or a sense of being stuck, we can work together at your pace, in a way that feels safe and respectful of your needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
MBACP Registered BACP Counsellor / Psychotherapist.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Finding the right therapist is essential for a meaningful counselling journey. I offer a free 20-minute consultation, where you can ask questions, share your goals and concerns, and explore whether our therapeutic relationship feels supportive and aligned. If it feels right to move forward, we can then discuss the counselling agreement, fees, and arrange your first session with care and attention to your comfort.
