About me
I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow when they feel truly heard, seen and accepted. If you are struggling with overwhelming feelings, or feeling lost or disconnected from yourself, I offer a safe warm and non judgemental space for you to explore what is going on for you, at your own pace, you do not have to face these things alone. Life can leave us feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted and unsure of our next steps. I am a person centred counsellor working within the BACP ethical framework, I offer a confidential space in which you will not be judged and feel completely safe. Together we will work to understand the root causes of your struggles, break down old patterns that no longer serve you, and discover new ways to move forward with confidence.
My approach is based on understanding, acceptance and trust - helping you to connect with your own inner resources and find your own way forward, by being patient and gentle, yet challenging when appropriate. My sessions provide a safe space to navigate life's overwhelming moments together.
Taking the first step toward counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming, which is why I offer a free 20 minute, no obligation phone call prior to starting our sessions together to enable us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. In our first session we will explore what you hope to achieve and ensure that you feel comfortable working with me, there is no pressure to share everything right away.
As I specialise in Person-Centred counselling, a talking therapy in which the sessions are led by you, as you are the expert on your own life and possess the inner resources needed for growth and healing.
If you would like any further information, please send me a message and we can book in your 20 minute call at a time convenient for yourself.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
