About me

Hello, my name is Jennie. I am an integrative counsellor and holistic therapist, offering a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Taking the first steps towards therapy can feel scary and overwhelming, which is why at Jennifer Glover MindLight Wellness, I aim to provide as much information and guidance as possible to help you choose the right path for you. I offer a free 15-minute Zoom consultation to discuss to help navigate this and to ensure you feel comfortable proceeding with me as your therapist.

As an integrative therapist working with methods of psychotherapy and holistic therapy, I bring a range of therapeutic approaches to sessions, both online and face-to-face. Therapy may provide a space to offload and reflect, or an opportunity to work through deeper, more complex issues that may be holding you back from living as your true self.
Therapy can help you better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, improve emotional well-being, and create healthier patterns moving forward. Whatever you choose to bring, each session is tailored to your individual needs within a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. By combining psychotherapy techniques with somatic and energy-based approaches, I am able to offer flexibility in the interventions used, always keeping you and your well-being at the centre of the work.

I have over five years of experience working within mental health and have completed a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner with nine years of experience and have trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). I support clients with lots of different issues: anxiety, stress/burnout, low self-esteem and confidence, attachment/relationships (currently not couples counselling), grief, trauma/complex trauma, and feeling stuck or disconnected. I also work with PTSD using EFT or a blend of EFT and psychotherapy.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within and exceed their ethical standards, ensuring therapy is delivered safely, professionally, and with care. To maintain my ethical practice, I take regular supervision as per the guidance of the BACP.

If you feel ready to begin your therapy journey, I welcome you to get in touch for a free 15-minute consultation

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
