About me
Many people struggle with mental health difficulties at different times in their lives and can feel like it’s hard to make sense of this, and my goal is to help people to understand and improve their mental health. I'm a qualified Senior Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Analytic Therapist (CAT). I love using CAT and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) to help people gain an understanding of the way they relate to themselves and those around them, and why they may struggle with this at times, and to help them to learn how to make changes to these patterns and find alternate ways of approaching different situations.
I have over 15 years experience working with as a psychologist within the NHS across a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship struggles, emotional difficulties, and eating disorders. I am passionate about psychological well-being and always work to provide a compassionate space for therapy.
Please feel free to get in touch by phone or email if you'd like to know more. I'd be happy to offer a free telephone call to talk through any queries you might have and answer any questions to see if I am the right person to help you. I offer sessions on Mondays between 9am and 4.30pm and can offer therapy face-to-face or online.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
The Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) is a registered charity. They welcome members of the public, health professionals, ACAT accredited professionals, and anyone interested in finding out more about CAT. They list CAT practitioners.
