About me

I want counselling to feel comfortable and natural, eliminating the impersonal experience often associated with it. By being real and authentic, I strive to create an environment where you can genuinely relax and be yourself. To break down barriers and foster a therapeutic relationship that feels more like a meaningful connection than a clinical interaction.

I strongly believe we all have the answers within ourselves; we just need the right space & guidance to help unpack them. Having been through this process, I understand the powerful impact our experiences have on us & how deep those trenches go.

My commitment is to support you through your experiences and challenges, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore what’s going on in your life. Having worked with a diverse range of issues; from stress and relationship issues to suicidal ideation and trauma to anger and abuse. I’m here to help you navigate your journey by fostering awareness of self, self-regulation and empowering you to explore your experiences and emotions.

'Each of us is unique, and no two experiences are lived in the same way.'

I offer a free 15 minute introductory call. It's about finding the right fit and person to work with. It can be daunting, I've been there but taking the next steps on your journey is a positive step, regardless of whether you work with me or not.

Remember this is your journey!

Experience

I create a safe, non judgmental environment where they can express themselves, empowering them to develop resilience and coping skills.

With adults, I focus on men’s mental health, addressing issues such as suicidal ideation, emotional resilience, and trauma. In a compassionate and confidential space, I encourage exploration of difficult emotions, promoting personal growth and healthier relationships.

For women, I provide support in managing stress, enhancing self worth, and navigating trauma and relationship dynamics. I aim to empower them to confront challenges and achieve balance, offering strategies for self-advocacy and emotional regulation.

Overall, my work fosters empowerment and resilience across all age groups, guiding individuals on their journeys toward mental well being. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and the importance of building meaningful connections with my clients to inspire hope and promote lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
