About me
A Safe Space for Your Journey Towards Healing.
Hello and welcome. Let me introduce myself - I'm Jen an integrative therapeutic counsellor who is passionate about supporting people through life's challenges. I'm an integrative therapeutic counsellor whose core approach is Person-Centred where I work in an empathic and non-judgmental way combining elements from different therapeutic approaches, creating a more holistic and adaptable approach to therapy according to the individual needs of the client.
When events or relationships feel overwhelming, or we can feel a loss of direction or purpose. As a qualified therapist, together we can explore your situation, which will help us make sense of those challenging times and offer a way to move towards a better understanding of ourselves and our feelings. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My aim is to provide a flexible and holistic approach to therapy to help you better understand yourself, overcome difficulties, and move towards lasting positive change.
What I Offer:
A Safe and Confidential Space: I believe that healing begins with feeling heard and understood. Our sessions will be a place where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgment or pressure.
Empathy and Compassion: Life can be overwhelming, and you don't have to go through it alone. I am here to listen, support, and gently guide you as you navigate through your personal challenges.
Tailored Therapy: Since no two people are the same, I work with you to develop an approach that suits your specific circumstances. Whether you're seeking to resolve past trauma, manage anxiety, or work through relationship difficulties, we will co-create a plan that helps you feel more in control and empowered.
A Journey of Self-Discovery: Counselling is not just about resolving problems; it's about discovering new aspects of yourself. Together, we can explore your inner world, helping you gain deeper insight into your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions.
