About me
Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or simply worn down by life’s demands? Perhaps you’re finding it hard to keep everything together, or you’re carrying worries that feel too heavy to manage on your own. You might be looking for change, support, or just a safe space to untangle your thoughts....
Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer warm, grounded counselling where you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard and understood, while finding the clarity and confidence to take positive steps forward.
My Approach
- I offer a person-centred approach, meaning you set the pace and direction of our work together.
- I believe in the change, growth, and healing that comes from having a safe, confidential space to talk.
- My approach promotes client autonomy - you are the expert on you, and together we can build trust in your own judgements, in line with your values.
- Everyone deserves to be heard without fear of judgement. Therapy can provide the clarity and support needed to make meaningful changes
Areas of Support
I work with a wide range of issues, including:
- Anxiety and low mood
- Stress and depression
- Loss and grief
- Relationship difficulties
- Identity and self-exploration
- Parenting challenges
- The impact of neurodivergence
I bring many years experience of working alongside Autistic and ADHD individuals in counselling and non-counselling roles. This, combined with ongoing training, ensures I provide a genuinely neurodivergent-affirming practice that values each person’s strengths and individuality.
How I Work
- Online counselling via Zoom – accessible wherever you are.
- Short-term or longer-term work, depending on your needs.
- Walk & Talk sessions – for those who find nature grounding, combining therapy with fresh air and movement. Perfect if you prefer in-person support outside of the therapy room.
Above all, my service is grounded in compassion, respect, and genuine care - a place where you can talk openly, feel understood, and take steps towards change, healing and greater well-being.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (MBACP).
I have worked in both private practice and community counselling services, supporting adults with issues such as neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, OCD, health concerns, eating difficulties, and suicidal thoughts.
I have a particular interest in neurodivergent-affirming therapy, and many years of experience working with autistic and ADHD individuals in and out of the counselling room. I regularly undertake continuing professional development (CPD) in areas such as trauma, parenting, positive psychology, and non-violent resistance.
I am committed to providing a safe, compassionate, and professional space.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Getting Started
Reaching out can feel daunting, and I aim to make the process as simple and welcoming as possible.
- Firstly contact me via email.
- Here we can arrange an initial telephone conversation at a mutually convenient time. This will be a no obligation call where we can chat and you can get a feel for if I'm the right therapist for you.
- During the call we will discuss if you'd like to proceed and book our first session at this time.
- I will send all contact forms and contracts for your perusal prior to our first session.
Points of note
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring your sessions are always confidential, respectful, and handled with care. My practice is fully insured and supported by regular supervision.
My practice is inclusive and welcoming of adults from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I value creating a space where you can bring your whole self without judgement.
