About me
Life can be difficult at times, and it’s entirely human to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally vulnerable. You may notice specific patterns in how you think, feel, behave, or relate to others repeating themselves, even when you’re doing your best to create change. Therapy can offer a compassionate, reflective space to make sense of these experiences with warmth, curiosity, and care.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience across both the NHS and the private sector. I have a special interest in women’s mental health across the lifespan. I offer in-person and remote therapy for women aged 18 and above in a calm, private space in St John's Wood.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and collaborative. I draw primarily on psychodynamic and interpersonal theories, while also incorporating elements of mindfulness, CBT and other evidence-based therapies where appropriate. I am an accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). I adapt my approach to suit each individual’s needs, whether you're seeking short-term focused therapy or longer-term exploratory work.
I’m currently training in Somatic Trauma Therapies, and I regularly draw on Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing to support nervous system regulation particularly for women managing anxiety, trauma responses, or chronic emotional stress. My work is further informed by my training in the EMBERS model through the Menopause CBT Clinic, which supports women navigating midlife, hormonal changes, and identity transitions with compassion and clarity.
I work predominantly with women who are navigating anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm; struggling with self-worth, lack of purpose, perfectionism, people-pleasing traits, burnout and/or women who are experiencing relational difficulties or recurring unhelpful patterns in relationships. I support women moving through transitions such as young adulthood, motherhood, divorce, separation, infertility, menopause, or midlife and beyond. I help women in seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their bodies.
I worked on the Eating Disorders Unit of a private psychiatric hospital for over a decade. I continue to support patients with eating-related difficulties in private practice. However, I do not work with high-risk presentations, as I operate independently and outside of a multidisciplinary team.
Who I Don’t Typically Work With
Due to the nature of my approach, I do not usually accept referrals for primary OCD or psychosis. My style is insight-oriented and collaborative, which may not be the best fit for these presentations.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
