About me
Hi, I’m Jasveen
MBACP (Accred) Counsellor & Psychotherapist | Based in Twickenham / St Margaret's / Teddington / Richmond
I offer a warm, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, reconnect with yourself, and move towards meaningful change. I believe that regardless of our past or current circumstances, we all hold the capacity for growth, healing, and transformation.
As your therapist, I’m here to walk alongside you—not to fix or direct—but to support you in discovering your own inner voice. Through thoughtful questioning and deep listening, I help you uncover insights, develop resilience, and foster personal understanding.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years in the airline industry in a Leadership role. My journey into therapy was shaped by personal exploration and a genuine curiosity about human nature. The experience deeply informs my understanding of people, cultures, connection, and life transitions.
While I am multilingual in Hindi, Punjabi, and Swahili, I offer therapy sessions in English only.
What I can help with:
I offer support to individuals facing a wide range of challenges some of these include: Grief, loss, bereavement, relationship difficulties, childhood traumas, parenting struggles, loneliness, anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, the stress around cost of living, redundancy, victims of fraud / scam, parts of self, plural identity and various other concerns.
Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating the emotional impact of health diagnosis such as menopause, peri-menopause, baby loss as well as conditions such as cancer & dementia.
My therapeutic approach combines Person-centred and Pluralistic theories, recognizing and respecting the uniqueness of each individual. Within my practice, I incorporate creative, sand tray and expressive techniques providing them as options for individuals who may benefit from them. There is no pressure to engage in these techniques if they do not resonate with your preferences or therapeutic goals.
I actively participate in supervision and continuously enhance my professional skills for our collaborative work.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

AI-based apps or services:
Some clients choose to use AI-based apps or chat services that provide emotional support or therapy-like conversations. These tools are independent of, and not part of, the counselling services I offer.
Whilst you are free to use AI tools, it is important to understand that they do not hold a psychological or professional duty of care. It cannot reliably assess risk or crisis, and may sometimes provide inaccurate or misleading information. Information shared with AI platforms may also be stored, processed, or used outside the confidentiality standards that apply within therapy.
I remain fully responsible for the care I provide. My clinical decisions are guided by professional, ethical standards, and therapeutic training, and are not delegated to AI systems.
Should you decide to use AI tools for personal support, you are welcome to discuss this within therapy so that we can explore together – for e.g, how it may be influencing your thoughts, feelings, or wellbeing. This invitation is offered without judgement.
