About me

I am a UKCP-registered transpersonal integrative psychotherapist and  developmental coach with more than 40 years’ experience in personal and professional development.

I offer depth-oriented transpersonal psychotherapy to help you explore and understand the deeper patterns that are shaping your thoughts, emotions and relationships.

I provide a safe space for you to process what you have been through, understand yourself more deeply, and create a new more fit for purpose sense of self.  This might include what lies beneath anxiety, overwhelm, depression, stuckness, or disconnection.and create lasting change in both your personal and professional life.

Depth psychotherapy can help you to:

  • recognise and change unconscious patterns
  • feel more grounded, present, and emotionally connected
  • make clearer and more confident decisions
  • develop healthier, more meaningful relationships
  • reconnect with a stronger sense of purpose, identity, and direction.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Psychotherapy and an MA in Psychological Coaching. My work is grounded in a transpersonal, transcultural and integrative approach, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and Jungian perspectives. Where appropriate, I incorporate dreamwork, symbolism, creative imagination and mindfulness to support deeper self-understanding and personal growth.

My clinical experience began at the Maytree Sanctuary, supporting people experiencing suicidal thoughts and emotional crisis. I subsequently worked as a therapist with Help Counselling and Freshstart, providing longer-term therapeutic support to individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

As part of my training, I completed a psychiatric placement with the Psychiatric Liaison Team at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, which deepened my understanding of mental health within acute clinical settings.

Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working as a developmental coach, supporting leaders and organisations across the charity, creative, health and wellbeing sectors, including the NHS.

I bring over 30 years' experience as a Chief Executive, charity trustee, consultant, coach, coaching supervisor and psychotherapist. I have post-graduate diplomas in governance and executive coaching.  I am an assessor for the Institute of Directors prestigious  chartered director award. This breadth of experience enables me to understand both the practical realities of life and work, and the deeper emotional and psychological dynamics that shape our choices, relationships and wellbeing.

I trained as a psychotherapist out of a lifelong interest in what drives human behaviour and how lasting change occurs. My work is informed by a belief that meaningful transformation comes not only from understanding our difficulties, but from developing a deeper relationship with ourselves.

Further information

You may have reached a point where your usual ways of coping no longer seem to work, or where you feel ready to understand yourself and your life more deeply. Therapy can help you explore the experiences, beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back, while supporting you to develop a stronger sense of self, greater emotional freedom, and more meaningful relationships.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to arrange an initial online conversation. I offer a complimentary 15–30 minute consultation to explore what you are looking for, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels right for both of us.
