About me

Life is not always predictable and things happen out of our control especially during this uncertain times and with the Covid Pandemic which can cause confusion and overwhelm, even fear of the unknown. Do you struggle with symptoms of depression or anxiety?

Have you experienced bereavement and struggling to come to term with your loss and adjustment?

Do you repeat the same patterns of behaviour that lead to dissatisfaction and pain?
Do you have unwanted memories interfering with you present life?
Are you at a crossroad but undecided at the direction to take?

I can help! and Together we can make sense of your current confusion or struggle. As an Integrative counsellor with a wealth of experience working in NHS and in growing private practice, I offer a safe, supportive warm environment to explore your issues better and work towards improving your life.

I also offer ONE-OFF sessions as I this can also make a big difference!

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Certificate and a PG Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and I am BACP Registered.

I currently work part-time as a counsellor within NHS as well as in an established growing private practice.

I have gained a wealth of experience working in a multicultural environment for many years.  I have worked as a Substance Misuse Counsellor and with Mental Health dealing with many issues such as the unfortunately common anxiety and depression. More recently, I have focused my training and continuous development in Mindfullness, Trauma and attachment.

Over the years, My therapeutic work has developed into a deeper more meaningful practice as an Relational Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist using a range of psychological approaches.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme
